HSI Services

The HSI Continuum of care solution represents a system of service delivery that is "seamless". It is designed to allow the fluid movement of clients through a comprehensive system of services provided by HSI. 

Behavioral Health Services
Behavioral Health Services Care Center advocates for the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of children, adults and their families through needs assessment, planning, support, counseling and linkages with community resources.

The care center  employs professional staff who meet educational requirements consistent with the delivery of health, human and social services. It believes that effective case management involves a partnership that includes the case manager, client, family, community resources and significant others.

 
Children & Family Services
The Children & Family Services Care Center serves urban children, youth and families in need of support and intervention to remain intact,  become independent and/or reach their potential.
 
Implementing the Positive Youth Development Model, this care center provides after school programs, youth counseling, tutorial, teen parenting and delinquency prevention services.
Disabilities Management
Disabilities Management Care Center, through its Westside Parents Developmental Training Center and the Wesley Vocational Center departments, provides employment, skills training and job placement services to disabled and unemployed individuals.

The care center operates various programs which assist these persons to achieve their maximum level of independent living by increasing their earning capacity, self esteem and self-sufficiency.

The care center raises discretionary income for the agency and employment for developmentally disabled adults through its contracts with corporations and others for production work. It also operates an industrial-size kitchen, 150 seat cafeteria and a fleet of  vehicles.

 
Residential Services
Residential Services Care Center  provides housing and specialized training to developmentally disabled, mentally ill and other persons at risk.

The programs in the care center  provide housing and prepare clients for independent living in a structured, nurturing setting within the community. The primary purpose is to prevent institutionalization and increase the potential for movement to a least restrictive care setting.
